Hedingham Castle
Hedingham Castle is a 900 year old Norman keep set in a private estate of 160 acres owned by the Lindsay family. The keep was built by the de Veres in c1133, and contains some of the finest Norman interiors in Northern Europe. Today it is open to the public on selected dates from April to October and is the centrepiece to major historically themed events throughout the season, as well as being one of the most romantic wedding venues in England. The park contains formal gardens, lakes and woodland which visitors are encouraged to explore on days when it is open to the public.
